All organisations have business issues that are difficult to solve from inside because of history, politics, culture, personal issues, lack of method or available senior resource.

An assessment of an issue or problem by an experienced external consultant enables hurdles to be identified and put to one side so that real issues can be identified and addressed.

Why would the parties accept an outsider's assessment?

The sponsorship of the CEO or senior manager is necessary, but once the assessment is complete the result will speak for itself and as it is coming from an outsider it is more easily accepted by all stakeholders. Part of the assessment method is to involve detractors and recognise what is behind their position and find ways of providing a solution that enables stakeholders to buy in and commit.

Conditions for 2005 Business Assessment Special Offer

  • Assessment is to be explicitly sponsored by the CEO or senior decision-making leader.
  • Assessment to be conducted only at one location (if multiple locations need to be visited additional time and costs will be quoted)
  • Location to be in Sydney metropolitan area. Assessment can be done in other locations so long as the client pays travel and accomodation expenses.
  • Assessment to be completed within an agreed single week (if completion of an assessment is not possible within a week the consultant will advise the client before commencement, discount rates will still apply if longer is required), plus a one hour meeting beforehand with the CEO or senior leader.
  • If additional resources are required, and also if the client wishes, they are to be provided by the client
  • A person nominated by the CEO or senior leader will make interview appointments before the assessment commences.
  • Rescheduling of interviews is not allowed for in the special fee, additional time charges will accrue If interviews are delayed or postponed beyond the agreed week.
  • Client will provide a dedicated meeting room or office for confidential interviews for the whole week.
  • 50% of the fee is payable on commissioning Stratege and 50% immediately on completion. Clients standard payment terms do not apply.
